Contoured fit – no bulk, no stiffness, designed for posture and comfort.
One size fits most – elastic panels on the back and adjustable straps allow the YVO Warrior Vest to adapt to most body shapes.
Machine Washable – remove all weight pouches and charms, place shell in a garment bag, and wash on a gentle cycle in cold water with a mild detergent. Lay flat to dry. Spot clean between washes as needed.
Do not tumble dry, bleach, or dry clean.

I love my YVO vest. It's more comfortable than any weighted vest I have carried. It does not strain my neck muscles or compromise my posture. It is very well made and designed to fit a woman perfectly. It is very comfortable! I wear it while walking on my treadmill at home. This is the most comfortable vest I’ve tried that has the ability to adjust weight! It sits just right on my smaller frame, and I love that it has little pockets for my keys, phone, cash etc. I also love that unlike my fixed-weight vests, the weights are fully removable so that you can wash the shell as needed.

I absolutely love my YVO vest!
Last week, I even tested it out in my Zumba class with a lighter load than I use on rucking nights, of course, and I loved it. I also already wore it for a quick walk to the grocery store. I love being able to adjust the weight depending on what I’m doing.
For the past 5 years I was carrying my baby, then my toddler, and now that she is heading into kindergarten, the YVO vest feels like such a perfect transition. I saw how much carrying my child helped me build strength and muscle in a very functional way, and I want to keep that strength in my body.

What are the weights made of?
Each pouch is filled with dense carbon steel sand, securely sealed and zipped into front and back pockets. Tested to prevent shifting or leaks.
How do I redeem my DEXA scan from BodySpec?
As of 9/9/2026 all DEXA scans will be redeemed through the YVO Warrior App using your order #.

Can I travel with it?
Yes. The weight pouches are removable, making the vest easy to pack. Note that pouches may require checked baggage depending on airline guidelines — we recommend checking before you fly.
When will my order arrive?
All orders ship within 3–5 business days. You'll receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order is on its way. BodySpec DEXA scan codes are sent separately once your order ships, if applicable.
How heavy should I start?
Most research-backed protocols begin at 5–10% of body weight. The YVO Warrior vest ships with eight 2.5lb weight pouches and accommodates up to 20lbs, so you can progress without buying a second vest.
What pockets does the vest have?
Plenty. Three zippered pockets, two front and one back, hold your weight pouches. Two mesh side pockets fit your phone or sunglasses, smaller mesh pockets up top are perfect for a lip gloss, and a hidden pocket on each side holds a card or cash.
Can I machine wash it?
Yes. Remove the weight pouches, wash the shell cold on gentle, hang to dry. For daily upkeep, spot clean with mild soap and water.
How should I distribute the weights?
Load one pouch into each front pocket first, then fill the back pocket. From there, you can keep it even front-to-back, or move more weight up front, closer to your hips. Try it on after loading and adjust until the balance feels right.
Can I cancel or return?
Yes. Reach out to hi@yvowarrior.com within 30 days of delivery and we'll help you out. Send your item back in good, resalable condition with its original packaging. We'll send a prepaid return label and deduct the shipping cost from your refund. Once we receive and inspect your return, your refund goes back to your original payment method within 3-7 business days.
Will it fit my body?
Yes. The Warrior Vest was designed for women of most sizes (U.S. S–XL). It’s bust-friendly, secure, and adjusts like a backpack - one size fits most. Extenders are available to purchase if you need a little more space.
How much weight should I start with?
New to rucking? Start with 5 lbs, one 2.5 lb pouch on each side. That's enough to keep your posture steady while you walk. From there, build up gradually toward 10% of your body weight, and always choose good posture over more weight. Our free Rucking 101 Guide walks you through a full sample plan.
How many weight pouches come with my vest?
It depends on what you ordered. The Shell comes with no weights, the 10 lb set includes four 2.5 lb pouches, and the 20 lb set includes eight. Mix and match pouches across the front and back pockets to find your load.
What should I wear it with?
Anything you'd wear on a walk. The Warrior Vest is designed to layer over everyday clothing — a t-shirt, a fleece, a jacket. It's built for real life, not just the gym.
What if my package is lost or damaged?

What is the vest made from?
Premium Cordura® nylon, breathable mesh, and reinforced stitching. Strong enough for sweat and miles, comfortable enough for everyday carry.
How is this different from a regular weighted vest?
Most vests are unisex products scaled down. Ours is cut for the female chest and ribcage, weighted for daily wear, and engineered with progressive loading in mind — not max effort.
How do I know if it fits correctly?
The vest should feel snug but not restrictive. Front pouches should sit just above the hips. Use the dual adjustable straps — at bust and waist — to dial in your fit. If it shifts while you walk, tighten slightly.
